Camps at CYC Camp Cooloongup

Camp Cooloongup is one of the few facilities in Western Australia able to provide a wide range of activities and accommodation within the same grounds, at amongst WA’s most competitive prices.

CYC has a long and rewarding history of serving the West Australian community since the 1960’s and continues to enjoy and experience a culture of continual improvement.

CYC offer both dormitory and motel style rooms, most with their own shower and toilet. In addition to your accommodation needs there is a laundry, leaders lounge, directors suite, on-site activities, disabled toilets, craft room, admin office facilities for photocopying etc….and much more.

Location:

CYC is located 40 minutes south of Perth, situated in approximately 11.5ha of natural bushland suitable for exploring, and opposite Lake Cooloongup (not suitable for any activities). It is the perfect location for your next camp, retreat or team building venue as it the perfect mix of a secluded destination while being near activities and nearby towns for day visits.

Accommodation:

CYC can accommodate up to 150 people housing guests in a mixture of dormitories and motel style units.

The dormitories are catered with six or eight beds, most with their own shower and toilet. In addition, the camp offers motel units with ensuites.

Facilities at CYC Camp Cooloongup Site:

CYC are proud to offer a range of on-site activities including accommodation such as:

  • Games room consisting of table tennis, pool tables and air hockey;
  • Auditorium with TV & video/ DVD projection capable of seating 180 people;
  • Meeting spaces with white & black boards and a PA system;
  • A fully catered kitchen with a large dining room capable of seating 150 people which can be used for other activities outside meal times.
  • A large oval perfect for cricket, football and other activities; and
  • A range of free and paid activities such as an abseiling tower, climbing wall, jumping pillow, low ropes course, archery, mini golf, flying fox, a water slide, BBQ area, and much more.

Catering:

Our delicious menus cater for the hungriest camper! We offer fully catered meals (sorry, no self-catering) including breakfast right through until dinner and desserts. Special dietary requirements can be arrange with prior notice. To view a sample menu please click here.
